Founder’s Story

After living with the disease of addiction for 15 years, I’m grateful to now have the chance to make a direct impact in the lives of other women fighting alongside me, armed with the armor of God.

One of the moments I’m most thankful for has been my experience as a recovery house manager and owner, as well as founder of Pathway to Stability Workshops, where underserved communities and people in recovery can learn new crafts to become small business owners or simply pick up new hobbies.

I often encounter spirits I once recognized in myself, but now, from the other side of the table, I see the amazing changes the Holy Spirit has made in me—how I respond, how I react. Every day I set an example for the women in my program, showing them that change is possible.

They see my growth, and sometimes my failures, but I don’t see that as a bad thing. It’s the essence of a driven, peer-supportive, empowering environment that honors each person’s path while staying connected to the recovery community.

As we like to say: we succeed, We Grow Girls!
